What We Do<\/h2>

Perform Spatial Analysis<\/font><\/h3>

We assist with the integration and analysis of spatial information related to HEALTH Programs. Public health and other data layers are combined for proximity analysis and then to produce maps. For example, Geographic Information Systems -GIS software has been used during public health emergency preparedness and for analysis of the spread of health risks and on-going conditions. <\/p>

Support GIS Efforts<\/font><\/h3>

As a Executive Board Member of the Rhode Island Geographic Information System Consortium (RIGIS<\/a>), we support the use of shared data layers, provide on-going help and leadership for activities related to the use of GIS technology statewide, and supports initiatives to implement or use this geo-spatial technology.
