This feature class represents the locations of planned, accomplished and completed activity data that are recorded in the USFS Activities application FACTS. Only records with an activity are included. This data does not go into specifics of treatments (such as chemical treatments). It contains basic information like the activity subunit ID, administrative forest, ownership, state, planned date, accomplished date, completed date, method, equipment, funding, and many other items. Spatial data is joined with tabular data that originates from several FACTS tables in the FSDBA schema (ii_FACTS_AU_SU_ACTS_F#R_MV). Activity data may be entered at the Plan, Accomplished, or Completed state, but only Trust Fund designated activities are required when planned. All other activities are not required until the Accomplished or Completed date for upward reporting. Data is complete as of publication. The data in FACTS reflects Fuels, silviculture/reforestation/timber stand improvement, Trust Funds, Invasive Species Treatments, and range vegetation improvement. Protocol for data collection varies depending on program area. Spatial data collection varies from using sub-meter GPS to uncorrected GPS depending on program area. Users may also on-screen digitize the location of the activity. An Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) script captures changes in the data and deletes records that are no longer needed. 2019-02-07T00:00:00
