Abstract: The City of Burien GIS Data for public download.Catchments such as catch basins, manholes, and curb inlets are underground devices installed and used as receiving inlets with a slotted or solid cover. Curb inlets are visible in the side walls of a basin. Surface water is collected through these devices. Pipes and conveyance structures may connect to catchments to convey water downstream and prevent flooding.
