The ArcGIS "Hillshade" geoprocessing tool was used to produce the hillshade raster using the following parameters: input raster - outputDEM; traditional hillshade type; solar altitude angle of 315 degrees; solar aspect angle of 45 degrees; adjusted scaling; Z-factor of 1. The output hillshade was then subset using the ArcGIS "Extract by Mask" geoprocessing tool to confine the data to the New Hampshire state boundary.
A combination of ArcGIS processing tools were used to combine the source rasters into a Mosaic Dataset.
Data depicts hillshaded terrain for New Hampshire.
